This 2 day safari offers you a great opportunity to explore this so very beautiful Kibale Forest National park and the Bigodi Wetland sanctuary
After breakfast Leave for Kibale National Park; drive through a magnificent scenic panorama of tea plantations and several hills, arrive to Fort Portal town where you will have a lunch break and there after proceed to the Park which is about 34kms from Fort Portal town. The park is a domicile to 11 spaecies of primates including families chimpanzees, Columbus monkeys and other game. This park also hosts about 300 bird species. Overnight at Ataco country Resort, Ndali Lodge, Chimp’s Nest or tented camp.
Move to the Park headquarters early in the morning, you will be briefed before you commence tracking. Primate tracking is a thriller activity lasting for 3 hours. Keep your eye sharp to catch sight of Chimps, Columbus monkeys, array of birds, unique butterflies and other insects, small reptiles and flora. You will have your picnic lunch and in the afternoon continue to Bigodi wetland sanctuary with magnificent ecosystem and a haven of 137 bird species and thereafter drive back to Kampala.
